Statement From Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,I,C-Canandaigua)
May 14, 2009
“I am concerned about the information and revelations contained within the Inspector General’s report regarding the Commission on Public Integrity, and am currently reviewing this lengthy document to give it the careful consideration it warrants. However, I am fully confident in our Assembly Minority Conference’s appointment to the Commission, John Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell has a history of public service, outstanding legal credentials and a commitment to ethics and integrity. As such, I believe he should continue serving in this capacity.”
