NYS Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb Named To Governor-Elect Andrew Cuomo’s Committee On Economic Development And Labor
Statement from Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,I,C-Canandaigua)
November 11, 2010
“Earlier today, Governor-Elect Cuomo asked me to serve on his Committee on Economic Development and Labor, and I proudly accepted. As the only Legislative Leader who has started and run successful small businesses, I will draw upon my years of private sector experience to help Governor-Elect Cuomo find highly qualified people to serve in crucial economic development posts throughout our state government. Growing New York’s private sector and creating a more competitive business climate that produces jobs and gets folks back to work must be top priorities for the 2011 Legislative Session. Governor-Elect Cuomo’s willingness to reach out and work in such a bi-partisan manner is a positive sign that New York is finally ready to tackle its serious fiscal challenges head-on.”
