NYS Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb: We Must Always Remember So We Never Forget
Statement from NYS Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,I,C-Canandaigua)
September 9, 2011
“This Sunday will mark ten years since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Every American will forever recall where they were, and what they were doing, when our nation was attacked and nearly 3,000 of our fellow citizens were murdered. We remember the victims and their families, who honor the fallen by living with courage and purpose. We remember the heroism of our first responders, who risked all so that others may live. We remember our men and women serving in uniform who have sacrificed so much in the fight against terror. And we remember the national spirit of unity that followed the attacks, a spirit that showed Americans stood together and that our country remained a force for good in a world that knows evil. On Sunday, we remember the lives, love, loss and sacrifice of so many Americans that day and ever since. We must always remember so we never forget.”
