Tenney Welcomes Local American Legion To Albany

March 18, 2011
As part of a statewide legislative awareness day, Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney (R,C,I- New Hartford) welcomed representatives from Oneida County American Legions to the State Capitol. Members from Posts 231, 161, 1113, 24, 26, 1794, 229 and 232 met with the assemblywoman in her office (pictured above) as well as the county’s Vice Commander, David R. Riley, Sr.

“As a strong supporter of our nation’s Armed Forces, I was honored to welcome these gentlemen to Albany and will certainly be looking to advance a state budget that provides for our veterans. The proposals before us right now do not do enough to thank veterans for their service or honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice,” said Assemblywoman Tenney.
