Assemblyman Daniel J. Burling (R,C,I-Warsaw), at the unveiling of the Assembly Minority Task Force on Workforce Issues in the Correctional System report, expressed deep concern over mismanagement in the New York State Department of Correctional Services. Burling, who has four correctional facilities within his district, pointed out how policies and actions taken by the administration have put officers and inmates in danger in an already stressful environment.
