Nik Wallenda Given the Green Light to Cross the Niagara Falls on Tightrope

“Today, Nik Wallenda was given the green light by the Niagara Parks Commission to cross Niagara Falls from the United States to Canada on an 1,800-foot tightrope. Now, nearly a year after I authored legislation in New York to clear the way for this amazing feat, Mr. Wallenda’s dream will become a reality.
“This walk isn’t just a stunt – it’s sure to bring big benefits to Erie County. The traverse across the falls will bring back a renewed sense of excitement for our region and boost tourism in Western New York. Nik Wallenda’s showcase will help highlight our unique culture of the region.”
