Dear Friends,

As time moves forward toward Thanksgiving and the start of the holiday season, let's look back on an October to remember. We launched our inaugural Education and Housing Council meetings, bringing together important community figures and residents in need moving in partnership to build a better district. I also had the pleasure of attending many wonderful neighborhood events and organizational panels, as concerned members of the community worked to build bonds and forge a new path forward.

As November arrives, please stay in touch with my office to find out about our new and exciting events and programs, including our NYLAG Van and collaborations with Housing and Family Services of Greater New York to help affected residents struggling in the affordable housing crisis. Also, please come out for our Thanksgiving Block Party and Turkey Drive on Saturday, November 21st for festive fun, and to lend a hand to help out the less fortunate in the true spirit of the season.

Please remember that my office is here to serve you. We are located at 1216 Union Street between Rogers and Nostrand Avenues. Our office hours are 10:00AM-6:00PM, Monday-Friday. If you would prefer to reach us by phone, please call (718) 771-3105. We are here to help.

Many Thanks,
Diana
