“The budget proposal outlined by Governor Cuomo is an excellent starting point in the process to craft a responsible state budget that grows the upstate economy, increases education funding and allows for the creation of good-paying private sector jobs. Many of the Governor’s proposals, including the MarketNY program, have a tremendous amount of potential to help the families and small businesses in our region.

“As the budget process moves forward, I will continue to be an advocate for the hardworking people of the mid-Hudson Valley and Capital. The Governor’s budget calls for no new taxes or fees and I will work with my colleagues in the legislature to ensure that the final budget does just that.”
