Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein (D-Bayside) announced the winners of his Northeast Queens Photo Contest for students in grades six through twelve.
The prize for First Place went to Robert Fein, for his picture titled "Far, Far Away," which was taken at Flushing Meadows - Corona Park. Robert is a student at Long Island City High School.
The 2nd Place Winner was titled "Sunbathing," and taken at Bowne Park by Julia Lu, who attends the Bronx High School of Science.
The 3rd Place Winner was titled "The Road to the Bridge," and taken at Fort Totten by Ha Bin Cho, who attends Benjamin N. Cardozo High School.
Three Townsend Harris High School students received Honorable Mentions for their entries: Hyeongeun Ahn, Alice Kim, and Tiffany Ting.
"Congratulations to all of the winning students. I was very impressed with the entries which I am displaying on the walls of my district office so that my constituents can view these artistic photos taken in Northeast Queens," said Assemblyman Braunstein.
