Jaffee Joins Assembly Leadership as Secretary of Majority Conference

Albany, NY – Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee (D-Suffern) today announced she has been named to a leadership post within the Assembly’s majority, accepting the position of Secretary of the Majority Conference.
“I’m honored to have been entrusted with this responsibility,” Jaffee said. “I accept it with a deep commitment to not only our conference’s cause, but to ensuring the people of Hudson Valley have a strong voice at the highest levels of state government.”
Through her new post as Majority Conference Secretary, Jaffee will play a role in helping develop strategy, steer policy, and advance the overall interest and goals of the Majority conference and its members.
“I also appreciate the confidence of Speaker Silver in his supporting me for this post,” Jaffee added.
