Assemblyman Francisco P. Moya is seeking fall interns to work in his fast-paced district office in Jackson Heights, Queens. This is a great opportunity for students who want to gain hands-on experience in state government and community outreach. The position will be unpaid.
Responsibilities:
- Community organizing
- Policy research
- Constituent services
- Administrative duties
- Other tasks as assigned
Ideal candidate will:
- Be fluent in Spanish
- Have a strong interest in politics
- Possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Commit 15 hrs/week to the internship
