Internship Opportunities are Available with Assemblyman Skartados

Internships are currently available in Assemblyman Frank Skartados’ newly opened District Office in Newburgh. Skartados (D-Poughkeepsie/Beacon/Newburgh), who represents portions of Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster counties, is now accepting applications from high school, undergraduate, and graduate students interested in summer and fall internships. Students interested in state and local government and a career in public service are encouraged to apply.

Part-time and full-time unpaid internships are available during the summer and fall semesters. Duties will include but are not limited to: phone answering, constituent services, mail processing, research, and some policy work depending on the intern’s interest.
