April 14, 2008

Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. (R, I, C – Sag Harbor) welcomed Congressman Steve Israel and Long Island Power Authority President and CEO, Kevin Law, to Albany to join the swearing-in proceedings of the State’s 55th Governor, David Paterson.
The historic event brought many officials to Albany for the St. Patrick’s Day swearing in ceremony, which was held in the Assembly Chamber. Both of the State’s United States Senators attended as did past governors and many other elected officials from across the state.
Standing with Assemblyman Thiele (second from left) are (from left to right) Assemblyman Andrew Raia (R, C, I, WF – East Northport), Kevin Law, Congressman Israel, and Assemblyman Michael Fitzpatrick (R, C, I – Smithtown).
