Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. (I, D, WF-Sag Harbor) today urged East Enders to participate in the fourth annual “I Love My Park Day” by volunteering their time to help clean-up Montauk Point State Park on Saturday, May 2nd.

“I Love My Park Day” is a statewide event to improve and enhance New York's parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park's system and its needs.

On Saturday, May 2nd, from 10am to 1pm, volunteers are needed to help complete a beach clean-up of the coastline in Montauk Point and Camp Hero State Parks. Volunteers are also needed to prune and cut back the 4-Wheel Drive Access Roads to the beach for improved vehicle access. This event welcomes those of all ages to participate.
