Peconic Bay Community Preservation Fund Revenues are $81.55 Million for First 10 Months of 2015

Revenues are 1.0% less than same period in 2014

Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. (I-Sag Harbor) today reported that revenues for the Peconic Bay Community Preservation Fund (CPF) for the first 10 months of 2015 produced revenue of $81.55 million. A year ago, $82.38 million was collected for the same period, or 1.0% less. November revenues totaled $9.69 million. CPF revenues for the same month last year were $10.56 million. Since its inception in 1999, the Peconic Bay Regional Community Preservation Fund has generated $1.074 billion. The CPF has generated $106.96 million in the last 12 months.

Thiele stated, "The CPF revenues in the first 10 months of 2015 trail 2014 revenues by 1.0%. 2014 was the largest year for CPF revenues in the history of the program. This reflects the continued strength and stability in East End real estate and the continued availability to local Towns of the necessary revenues to protect community character. In essence, 2015 revenues have plateaued and revenues are virtually the same as 2014. At the 10 month mark, CPF revenues are on track to produce more than $97 million for the year."

Below are revenues by Town for the first ten (10) months of 2015 compared with 2014.
