Assemblymember Bronson: Assembly passes property tax cap
June 24, 2011
“Today the Assembly passed its property tax cap legislation that will provide meaningful relief to the hardworking families of Monroe County. This legislation will give real relief to overburdened taxpayers and protect schools and vital local government services. For too long, the families of Monroe County have been burdened with some of the highest property taxes in the state. This legislation will finally bring property taxes under control without decimating our schools and communities. I look forward to working with the Governor and the Senate to make this legislation a reality.”
