Assemblymember Bronson Announces Increase in AIM Funding to Help Localities
First increase in AIM funding since 2008-09 budget
March 8, 2013
“In an effort to help alleviate the heavy burden placed on local taxpayers, the Assembly budget proposal will include an across the board 10 percent increase in Aid and Incentives to Municipalities (AIM). This funding will go a long way toward helping localities balance their budgets and providing taxpayers with the relief they need and rightfully deserve. I fought to have this increase included in our budget proposal and I will work to ensure that the funding increase is included in the final budget as well.”
The increase in AIM funding for all the towns and villages in Monroe County is $10,263,456, totaling $101,958,761.
