Assemblymember Bronson: Assembly Honors Greek Independence

Assemblymember Harry B. Bronson (D-Rochester/Chili/Henrietta) announced that a resolution he supported to proclaim March 25, 2013 as Greek Independence Day in New York State has been adopted by the Assembly (K.200). This year marks the 192nd Anniversary of Greek Independence.

“The Greek community has played a vital role here in New York by contributing to the social and educational values of our great state,” said Assemblymember Bronson. “By recognizing Greek Independence Day we show our appreciation for all they have done and encourage New Yorkers across the state to reflect upon those contributions.”
