Budget Statement
March 28, 2013
“Today, we passed the third consecutive on-time budget that puts the needs of families first,” said Assemblymember Harry Bronson (D-Rochester/Chili/Henrietta). “This fiscally responsible, balanced budget increases aid to schools and provides additional support for community colleges to help ensure our children receive a quality education.”
“While there is still more to do, the budget is a compromise that takes important steps in the right direction by providing tax relief for Monroe County families and extending the youth employment program to give our young people a chance to gain the valuable work experience they need to be successful.”
