on Proposed LIPA Changes
Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg (D-Nassau County) is urging people in his Assembly District to provide their input on the Governor's proposed LIPA plan, which will impact almost every home and business on Long Island.
"The LIPA reconstruction plan proposes major changes, but we must ensure there is sufficient oversight that will protect us from outrageous rate hikes and provide us with improved customer service," said Assemblyman Weisenberg.
The Governor's proposal can be viewed on his website at the following link: http://www.governor.ny.gov/sl2/legislation, click on Item #6.
