Assemblyman Dinowitz Announces New Parking Lines
December 20, 2004
Earlier this year, Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz reached out to the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) to request that parking lines be re-painted along West 237th Street between Independence Avenue and Henry Hudson Parkway. The Assemblyman is pleased to announce that DOT has recently completed the project.
In a letter to DOT Bronx Commissioner Joseph Palmieri, Assemblyman Dinowitz stated, "The parking lines have become so faded that cars often take up two parking spaces on a street that is in dire need of as many parking spaces as possible."
"Parking spaces are always tough to come by in our community. Making sure that these spaces are clearly marked is important to maximize parking on West 237th Street. I am happy to receive a positive response from DOT on this issue," said Dinowitz.
