Ceretto Announces Over $450K For Local Libraries

Assemblyman John Ceretto (R,I-Lewiston) is pleased to announce that the Nioga Library System will receive over $450,000 in construction grants to support the continued efforts of local public libraries to educate and enlighten. The grants are supported by a $14 million capital fund appropriation in the 2011 state budget, which Assemblyman Ceretto helped pass. Local public libraries receiving grants include:
- $8,325 for energy-efficient projects at the Niagara Falls Public Library;
- $26,903 for renovations, upgrades and modifications at the Nioga Library System building located at 6575 Wheeler Road in Lockport;
- $8,945 for renovations to increase usable space and book capacity at the Youngstown Free Library; and
- $11,174 for energy-efficient projects at the Middleport Free Library.
