Teachers Praise Ceretto
May 8, 2012
Assemblyman John Ceretto (R,I-Lewiston) was recently thanked by the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) in a mailing sent to residents throughout the assemblyman’s district. NYSUT, a grassroots group representing more than 1,200 local teachers unions, praised Ceretto as a "hero" who voted to "defend educators across the state."
"It is nice to be recognized for the work I have been doing on behalf of the residents in my district and to receive special praise for helping to enhance the quality of education in New York State," said Ceretto. "As a former educator, I am extremely proud of the work I have been doing to strengthen our state’s education system, and I look forward to working with Governor Cuomo and my colleagues to provide New York students with a world-class education."
