Assemblyman John Ceretto (R,I-Lewiston) is reminding local job creators about the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council (WNYREDC) training workshop being held tomorrow, June 7, at the Niagara Falls Conference Center, 101 Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The workshops are intended to help business owners apply for state funding available through the Regional Economic Development Councils. The latest round of economic development funding provides $750 million statewide to stimulate job creation and growth.

“Job creators, your help is needed and your input encouraged in securing additional state funding in order to help strengthen our region’s economy and grow jobs,” said Ceretto. “I am urging local businesses to participate in tomorrow’s workshop in order to maximize Western New York’s ability to receive additional funding from the Regional Economic Development Council.”

The training workshops are free and open to economic development officials, municipalities, nonprofits and businesses. Attendees are asked to pre-register at: http://regionalcouncils.ny.gov/content/western-new-york.
