Ceretto Hosts Charity Drive For Communities Devastated By Superstorm Sandy

Assemblyman John Ceretto (R,I,C-Lewiston) is hosting a charity drive for downstate communities devastated by Superstorm Sandy. Supplies are being collected at Ceretto’s office, located at 1700 Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls on Friday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 13. Collected items will be assembled in Albany and shipped to Staten Island, Queens and Long Island later next week.
“I am encouraging members of our community to join me in donating items for communities downstate that have been devastated by Superstorm Sandy,” said Ceretto. “Basic supplies such as bottled water, diapers and batteries are in great demand in these affected communities. Now is the time for all New Yorkers to come together to help our fellow citizens.”
Items in demand include:
- Bottled Water
- Canned and Non-Perishable Food Items
- Can Openers
- Garbage Bags
- Work Gloves
- Disposable Masks
- Shovels
- Flashlights
- Batteries (Especially D and C)
- Ziploc Bags
- Bleach and Cleaning Supplies
- Cleaning Wipes/Baby Wipes
- Diapers
- Toilet Paper
- Paper Towels
- Toothbrush/Toothpaste
- Pet Food
- Blankets
- Hand Warmers
- Winter Hats, Gloves and Scarves
- Clothing
- School Supplies
Items can be dropped off at Assemblyman Ceretto’s office on Friday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 13 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
