Ceretto Calls For Repeal Of The SAFE Act At #NY2A Rally
February 28, 2013

Assemblyman Ceretto fires up the crowd at the #NY2A Rally in Albany.
In front of a crowd of over 5,000 people at the state Capitol, Assemblyman John Ceretto (R,I,C-Lewiston) today called for the repeal of the controversial NY S.A.F.E. Act.
“Today, I joined thousands of New Yorkers from across the state to again voice my opposition to the NY S.A.F.E. Act,” said Ceretto. “We need to repeal this bill and replace it with sound legislation that does more to improve the safety of our communities, rather than stripping away the rights of law-abiding gun owners.
“New Yorkers deserve a better law, one that is more about protecting the rights of law-abiding gun owners and less about scoring political points.”
