Assemblyman John D. Ceretto (R,I-Lewiston) took part in Read Across America and Dr. Seuss’ birthday celebration by reading to children at the North Tonawanda Library over the weekend. As part of the festivities, he read the famous children’s author’s “My Many Colored Days”, and the children in attendance took part in games, crafts and ate birthday cake.
"Reading is a cornerstone of every child’s imagination and potential, and Dr. Seuss exemplifies that more than any children’s author,” said Ceretto. “It was great celebrating Read Across America with the kids at the North Tonawanda Library, and I hope that the activities and reading spur their creativity and desire to learn."
