Assemblyman Borelli To Be Sworn In At His Alma Mater
Assemblyman Joe Borelli to take his oath of office during a ceremonial swearing-in ceremony at St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School

Assemblyman Joseph Borelli (R, C, I – South Shore) is hosting a ceremonial swearing-in on Thursday, January 17, at his alma mater, St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School. The oath of office will be administered by Chief Judge Dennis Jacobs of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Chief Judge Jacobs is one of the most senior and influential jurists in the country. Borelli will be joined by a host of elected officials as well as friends, family members, and supporters.
“I am honored that I will stand before my community as its new Assemblyman,” said Borelli. “It is a sacred privilege to be in public office, and I am determined to be worthy of the faith that has been placed in me.
“From Sandy recovery to funding for our schools to the fight against higher tolls, we have a lot to do. I look forward to working with my fellow Staten Island elected officials for a better tomorrow for our community.”
The event will take place at 7:30 p.m., January 17, at St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School, 5150 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10312.
