Assemblyman Joe Giglio (R,C,I-Gowanda) today announced availability of literacy and art education grants for children in kindergarten through grade 12. The education grants, sponsored by Barnes & Noble, provide funding for local and regional efforts to promote literacy and art education.
“I am so pleased to help get the word out on these important literacy and art education grants,” said Giglio. “Throughout our schools, youngsters continually demonstrate their enthusiasm and talent when it comes to reading and art, and these grants will help develop and promote programs for our children to strengthen their skills.”
Schools and nonprofit organizations located in communities with a Barnes & Nobles store that supports art education and literacy are eligible.
There is no application deadline. For more information, visit an area Barnes & Noble store.
