Assemblyman Joe Giglio (R,C,I-Gowanda) today announced his first-ever holiday open house and Toys for Tots drive held Saturday, Dec. 10, were great successes. Giglio also went on to give a very heartfelt thank you to all the generous residents who donated to the Toys for Tots program throughout the area. “It is easy to see why Olean and towns throughout the Southern Tier are such wonderful places to live and raise families,” said Giglio. “For those who were able to come out and donate a gift for the Toys for Tots program, I want to say a special ‘thank you.’ Thanks to the Marines and our caring residents, children in need throughout our region will have Christmas presents under the trees this year.” Giglio’s Olean district office will continue accepting new, unwrapped toys for children ages 14 and under throughout December. The Toys for Tots distribution point will be at the Olean Methodist Church, 131 North 9th St., on Saturday, December 17. For more information about donating a toy, the distribution point or how to file an application, please contact Assemblyman Giglio at (716) 373-7103 or visit his district office at 700 West State Street.
