January 9, 2006
Assemblyman Joe Giglio (R,C,I-Gowanda) today joined state and local elected officials and law enforcement personnel to promote Assembly minority initiatives that would further protect women and children from sexually motivated crimes. “Today marks the continuation of the Assembly minority conference full-court press to keep the momentum moving on initiatives that protect our women and children,” said Giglio. “My colleagues and I are ready to do everything necessary to keep the pressure on the Legislature to make sure these important proposals make it to the floor for a full vote.” Earlier today, Giglio, local elected officials and other members of the law enforcement community discussed new ways to make sure families are safe from dangerous, repeat sex offenders.
