Reforming Ethics in Albany

A statement by Assemblyman Joseph M. Giglio (R,C,I-Gowanda) on economic development ethics reform.

“Time and time again our taxpayers are footing the bill for disastrous projects that yield no results,” Giglio said. “I’m proud to stand with my peers in the Assembly Minority to call for real ethics reform and transparency in our economic development projects.

One of the Gov. top staffers is facing 50 years in jail for corruption, Crystal Run and its suspicious donations and state grants, the sale of a $15 million film hub for a single dollar, the list of failed and corrupt economic development projects goes on and on. The time is now to pass real ethics reform and shine the light of day on how the state spends our money.”
