Assemblyman Joseph Saladino will host a seminar to inform seniors about the Medicare Part D drug plan this May.
Saladino and a team of Medicare representatives are holding the event to inform the public about how this complex and possibly confusing system works and to help applicants complete prescription drug coverage applications.
The meeting will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4 at Massapequa Public Library, 40 Harbor Lane, Massapequa Park. Assemblyman Saladino and the Medicare experts will be available to assist seniors and answer all questions. This event is sponsored by Assemblyman Saladino and is free of charge.
“It is essential that Long Island seniors have the best possible prescription drug coverage plan,” said Saladino. “However, the Medicare Part D plan has resulted in some confusion. This is why I am taking the opportunity to keep seniors informed and guarantee they receive the full benefit from this program.”
Saladino notes seniors who attend should bring their Medicare ID number, effective date of their part A or B coverage, zip code and current drug coverage plan.
