Saladino Comments On Today’s Siena Poll Findings

November 13, 2007
“It does not come as a surprise that the public is upset. The will of the majority of the people in this state is very clear – no driver’s licenses for illegals.

As we prepare for the 2008 Legislative Session, you can be certain that I will be advocating for the public’s safety, for protecting security in the ports, airports, and borders of New York State, and for the assurance that Americans and taxpaying legal residents have a voice heard above all else. We need to realign the priorities of New York State. These priorities include getting spending under control, creating laws and increasing punishments that actually discourage violent crime and the activity of predators, and to facilitate deep and meaningful change which brings property taxes and the cost of education under control and affordable for property owners.”
