Assemblyman Saladino Honors Nassau County Mock Trial Champions From Massapequa High School
May 16, 2012

Assemblyman Joseph S. Saladino recently honored a group of students from Massapequa High School on their accomplishment of being the Nassau County Mock Trial Champions for this year’s 2012 New York State Mock Trial Tournament. The group competed with 44 other high schools in Nassau County to win the title. The team was led by Teacher-Coach Dan Bachman and attorney Brian Draper, a volunteer attorney-advisor for the team. The Mock Trial tournament is the largest competition in the state that pits high school students arguing a real case in a real courtroom, and Nassau has the largest single-county tournament in the state.
