Assemblyman Joseph S. Saladino is proud to host his 2012 Women of Distinction event at the Massapequa Public Library on June 30. The ceremony recognizes the accomplishments of some outstanding women in the 12th Assembly District who make our community a better place to live and work. This year’s Women of Distinction recipients are Sister Loyola Curtain, Phyllis Doria, Barbara Maertz, Margaret Minnick, Jane Ryan, and Roseann Vainder. These women are not only outstanding in their specific fields, but are role models for young women to emulate. Assemblyman Saladino encourages everyone to attend and the media to cover this ceremony honoring women who have given so much to their communities.
