Assemblyman Joseph Saladino joined with the Babylon Town Supervisor and Town Board as well as the New York City Police Department and many elected officials at the Town of Babylon’s renaming ceremony to dedicate a road in honor of Officer Peter Figoski, a New York City police officer who was slain on the job two years ago.
“It is with heavy hearts that we dedicate the road on which Officer Figoski lived in his honor. He was a devoted public servant and family man who was taken from our community far too soon,” said Assemblyman Saladino. “While nothing can take away the pain of losing a loved one, I hope that when everyone sees this sign they remember his contributions he made to our community and to public safety with much pride.”
