Chair, Housing Committee
Dear Neighbor:
Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website!
Since 1992 I have had the distinct privilege of serving the people of Harlem in the New York State Assembly. As a lifelong resident of our unique and eclectic community, it is my top priority as your Assemblyman to ensure that your voices are heard, loud and clear, in Albany and throughout New York State. I am your first link to representation in our great State, so let’s work together to make sure that our village and our neighbors can succeed and thrive even during distressing economic times.
Please use this website to stay informed about legislation that I sponsor, my activities within the community and the actions of the State Assembly Labor Committee, of which I am Chairman. Make sure to stay updated on all of the important business of State government, as an informed constituent is a powerful constituent and I need all the help I can get in representing our community to the fullest!
Most importantly, recognize that my office is always here to help. My door is always open and my staff and I are eager to help you work through any problems you may encounter in our community or beyond, whether it’s a housing issue, ensuring your unimpeded and rightful access to social services or simply help navigating our City and State's notorious bureaucracies, please feel free to seek our help!
Thank you for stopping by and keep in touch!
Sincerely,
Assemblyman Keith Wright

Assemblyman Wright aims to end the unfair practice of pay inequality by calling for the passage of the NYS Fair Pay Act; legislation which would ensure equal pay for equal work and put an end to employers discriminating between employees on the basis of sex, race or national origin by paying them different wages for the same job.
