Blankenbush Receives Committee Assignments

Appointed Ranking Minority Member of Assembly Agriculture Committee

Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush received his Assembly committee assignments this week, with appointments to the Corporations, Authorities and Commissions; Tourism, Parks, Arts & Sports Development; and Small Business committees. In addition, Assemblyman Blankenbush was appointed Ranking Minority Member of the Assembly Agriculture Committee, making him the highest ranking minority member on that committee.

β€œI am very pleased with my committee assignments, as I believe they accurately represent both my professional background and the needs and characteristics of my district,” said Assemblyman Blankenbush. β€œIn addition, I am especially pleased to be appointed Ranking Minority Member of the Assembly Agriculture Committee. Agriculture is the backbone of the economy and the lifeblood of the communities here in the 122nd Assembly District. I am eager to get to work on this committee and to be the voice in Albany for the farmers and agribusinesses of this district.”

As Ranking Minority Member of the Assembly Agriculture Committee, Assemblyman Blankenbush plans on holding a series of listening forums on agriculture issues throughout the district. More details regarding these meetings will be announced.
