Assemblyman Zebrowski: Assembly Unveils Legislation That Would Cap On Property Taxes
May 24, 2011
“Today the Assembly unveiled legislation that I sponsored that caps property taxes and will provide relief to the hard working families of Rockland County. Rockland County families pay some of the highest property taxes in the Nation. This bill will provide real relief while still allowing us to provide a quality education for our children, maintain critical services provided by local communities, keep families in their homes and allow people to remain right here in Rockland County.
I look forward to working with Governor Cuomo, and the Senate to get this much needed tax cap passed.”
