Assemblyman Zebrowski Echoes Senator Schumer’s Call to Ban Synthetic Marijuana
February 22, 2012
“Recently, U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) urged the federal government to pass a law banning the sale of synthetic marijuana. I agree with Senator Schumer and believe the sale of such chemicals should be completely banned.”
“The chemicals from synthetic marijuana are extremely harmful and have no place in our communities. That’s why I’m sponsoring legislation that would prohibit the sale and distribution of synthetic cannabinoids in New York State (A.7324). I’ve been pushing a ban on synthetic marijuana for over a year because it’s critical that we get these dangerous chemicals off the streets and out of the hands of Rockland County’s children.”
