Assemblymember Kevin A. Cahill: Direct Shipment of Wine Legislation a Boon for Local Wineries

"For years I have been a strong advocate of allowing our local wineries to participate in a nation wide market. This legislation (A.7379-a) will further enhance the reputation of New York State wines, increase visibility of our wine trail program and boost our agricultural markets and tourism. Wine makers here in the Hudson Valley, and across the state, take great pride in their world class creations. It is about time we allow them to distribute their products across the country."
