Assemblymember Kevin A. Cahill (D-Ulster, Dutchess) had the honor of speaking today at a dedication ceremony celebrating the life and accomplishments of Jane VanDeBogart. “Jane was a friend and leader in our community whose tireless efforts touched all those around her,” Assemblymember Cahill said.
As a tribute to Ms. VanDeBogart, Health Care STAT dedicated a bench, a plaque, and funded beautification in the new garden area at the Foxhall Ambulatory Surgery Center located next to Kingston Hospital. Ms. VanDeBogart is a co-founder of Health Care STAT, a Kingston-based community organization whose goal is to protect women’s health. Assemblymember Cahill said, “This memorial to Jane is fitting because her humanistic spirit and sense of individual responsibility leaves behind a legacy which will last as a comfort to all she served and befriended.”
“Jane was an individual of high moral character imbued with a sense of ambition. With her hard work, the Health Alliance, Inc. merger was made possible,” Assemblymember Cahill said.
