Statement from Assemblymember Kevin A. Cahill on the Passing of Phil Terpening, Ulster County Legislator

I am deeply saddened by this great loss. Phil was a friend and dedicated public servant. I recall with great fondness collaborating with Phil when he was Supervisor of the Town of Rosendale on his many projects to improve services for the residents. Over the years Phil’s enthusiasm, character and genuine compassion for others never faltered. He was a true son of Ulster County and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all those he met.

My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends and the people of Rosendale he so loved.
