Butler Calls On Governor Spitzer To Support The Property Tax Cap
January 16, 2008

Assemblyman Marc W. Butler (R,C,I-Newport) joined fellow Assembly Minority Conference Members in calling on Governor Spitzer to act now on their proposed property tax cap. The group also unveiled a clock that will countdown the time remaining until April 1, the fiscal deadline date for New York State. “New Yorkers are in dire need of tax relief and the property tax cap is a great first step toward that end,” stated Assemblyman Butler. “The governor needs to stop stalling and come through for the people of New York with a real tax cut,” concluded Butler.
