Assemblywoman Markey Brings Her Free Outdoor Concert Series to Maspeth’s Frontera Park on August 25th
August 10, 2010
Assemblywoman Marge Markey brings her summer concert series to home to Maspeth on Wednesday, August 25th and everyone is invited to come out to hear the musical group Blue Angel perform hits from the ‘60s and ‘70s. The program will take place in Frontera Park, 58th Avenue and Brown Place.
“I’m delighted be able to provide this free musical entertainment for the residents of Queens,” Assemblywoman Markey says. “Just bring a chair and come out and enjoy the music with your friends.”
The Assemblywoman has teamed up with the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation for more than five summers to present these free concerts and other activities in local parks. Concerts begin at 7:00 p.m.
Other concerts in Assemblywoman Markey’s 2010 summer series included programs at Boulevard Gardens, Big Six Towers, Windmuller Park and Sunnyside Gardens Park.
