Assemblywoman Markey Brings Her Free Outdoor Concert Series to Windmuller Park on August 18th
August 9, 2010
Assemblywoman Marge Markey brings her summer concert series to Windmuller Park in Woodside on Wednesday, August 18 and everyone is invited to come out to hear the musical group Blue Angel perform hits from the ‘60s and ‘70s.
“I’m delighted be able to provide this free musical entertainment for the residents of Queens,” Assemblywoman Markey says. “Just bring a chair and come out and enjoy the music with your friends.”
The Assemblywoman has teamed up with the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation for more than five summers to present these free concerts and other activities in local parks. Concerts begin at 7:00 p.m.
The next concert in the series will be August 25 in Frontera Park in Maspeth, located at 58th Avenue and Brown Place. For information about the concert series or if you have questions about legislative matters, please call the Assemblywoman’s district office at 718-651-3185.
