Assemblyman Mark Johns (R,C-Webster) recently presented New York State Assembly Certificates of Merit to several outstanding members of the Rural/Metro Medical Services. This annual event recognizes the great service and contributions made by EMTs, paramedics and other support staff.
“This year, the EMS community has adopted the theme, ‘More Than a Job, A Calling,’ which is certainly at the heart of what each of these men and women do for our communities,” said Johns. “When our loved ones’ lives are at risk, our medical first responders are there without hesitation tending to them and saving lives. I am honored to join our local paramedics this week, National Emergency Medical Services Week, to honor them for all their selfless and important work. They are an invaluable asset to our communities.”
This year, these individuals were honored and recognized: Anthony Crespo, Jeremy Pecoraro, Daniel Weimer, Denise Renaudette, and Joseph Gray.
