“Today’s forum was a great way to connect with several community leaders, exchange thoughts and ideas and see how we can keep New York moving in the right direction,” said Assemblyman Johns. “This event also gives me the opportunity to better know our community so that I can continue to put their interests first while representing them in Albany and across the 135th Assembly District.”
Representatives from local businesses, school districts, town and county governments, and residents participated in today’s Women’s Forum with the assemblyman. The event gave them the opportunity to voice their concerns about legislation, social issues and events throughout the 135th Assembly District.
Assemblyman Johns plans to hold his second Women’s Forum later this year. Attendees and those who were unable to attend are always encouraged to contact the assemblyman’s office at (585) 223-9130 or johnsm@assembly.state.ny.us for assistance with any issues.
