New Yorkers of Angel Company 3 of the 187th Infantry regiment proudly display a New York State flag, now flying high in Iraq. The 3rd Battalion – known as the Iron Rakkasans – is among the most decorated active duty battalions in the Army. The flag was provided upon a request made to Assemblyman Cusick.
